Il vischio è un arbusto semiparassita che nasce spontaneamente nei boschi d’Europa e d’America. Si sviluppa spesso sui rami di querce e meli e ha una forma cespugliosa. Le sue bacche bianche hanno un succo vischioso dal quale ne deriva il nome. Nell’antichità veniva usato anche in medicina sotto forma di tinture e decotti per curare la depressione. Tocca stare attenti però perché una concentrazione elevata di Vischio può portare all’intossicazione e alla morte, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le bacche.
